We are very excited to be partnering with The Community Tap and Birds Fly South for this weeks Virtual Date Night. Join us as Greg McPhee does a cooking demo showcasing one of our favorite summer staples, the burger! Full details are listed below and follow this link to reserve your spot. Dinner for two package will include: 2 grill-ready burgers with Anchorage house seasoning (Trail Place Farms Ground Beef), 2 house-made Sesame Olive Oil Yeast Roll, Au Poive Aioli, Bread & Butter Pickles, Marinated Red Onion, Meadowcreek Appalachian Cheese, Local Lettuce, plus Lemon Poundcake with Macerated Berries.
For the bevs, we’re featuring a wine and a beer this week: Gota Wines ‘Bergamota’ (Portuguese Red Blend) and Apologize Less (Double Dry-Hopped IPA) from Birds Fly South Brewing right here in Greenville!
- We are not taking customizations on the date-night package at this time. This meal includes meat, dairy, and gluten. (Skip bun for Gluten-Free and skip cheese for Dairy free!)
Now here’s what to do:
1) Register & Pay Now. We expect to sell out – so do it now, and tell your friends!
2) Add on, baby. Feel free to contact the Tap ahead to add to your booze package. (Call 864.631.2525 or text 864.313.7509) Make sure to be clear that you’ve purchased the Virtual Wine Date package so all the goods are ready at pick-up.
3) Pick-up from The Community Tap (North Main) between 1pm – 6pm on Friday 4/17. Weather permitting, we’ll have a table set up by the side/deck – you can pull right up to the table to text/call before!
4) Grill and chill at home – The only thing you have to do is grill those patties, baby (grill or stovetop)! Everything else is build-your own burger.
5) Join us Friday at 7:00pm on ZOOM for a demo with Chef McPhee and a live wine tasting with our (self-proclaimed) Trailer-Park Sommelier, Chad Musick. All ticket-holders will receive a link to the tasting on Friday morning. If you haven’t ZOOMed before here’s a little bit on how it works. Shawn Johnson (Birds Fly South) + more talkative Tap guests will also be zooming with us on Friday! The tasting is meant to be interactive – feel free to ask questions and give thoughts on camera or via chat. (Or mute yourself and just listen in!)
