City employees came to the rescue when an Iowa woman went into labor during a blizzard.Alejandra Alvarez is the customer service representative who took her call.”She called in and said she was going into labor, and she was wondering if she could get a plow truck to go down her street,” Alvarez said.She called the city for help because the road in her Des Moines was blocked.
