Woman arrested for burning mother’s house, deputies say

A North Carolina is accused of burning her mother’s house.Detective Robert Watson of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Darlinda Adkins Robinson, 46, of Marion, with arson.Robinson is also charged with two counts of simple assault. On Thursday, May 28, deputies responded to a house fire on Shell Road at a home owned by Robinson’s mother, Watson said. While on the scene, deputies saw Robinson assault two of her family members who were there, according to watson.
