CHARLOTTE – The Panthers got a few needed parts back on the practice field Thursday.
Wide receiver Robby Anderson (groin), right guard John Miller (shoulder), and cornerback Troy Pride Jr. (hip) were back as they prepare for the regular season finale against the Saints.
Pride was listed as limited, but Anderson and Miller were full participants, along with fullback Alex Armah (thigh), who was limited Wednesday.
The Panthers were still without running backs Christian McCaffrey (thigh) and Mike Davis (ankle), defensive end Brian Burns (shoulder), and tackle Russell Okung (calf).
Head coach Matt Rhule said Wednesday that neither the running backs nor Okung are expected to play.
Getting Armah back will help, and Rhule said that between the veteran fullback, wide receiver Curtis Samuel, and young running backs Rodney Smith and Trenton Cannon, they’d split the backfield load that
