The Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an inmate who escaped from the Greenwood County Detention Center.According to Sheriff Dennis D. Kelly with the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office, Dwight Dawayne Smith climbed a recreation yard fence and escaped from the detention center’s roof around 8:10 p.m. Friday.Kelly said detention center staff became aware of Smith’s escape during the nightly formal head count around 9:50
