The race is officially on for Greenville County Council, as two candidates — one newcomer, one incumbent — have filed their candidacy for the 2020 election.

The newcomer is Ben Carper, who is challenging Democrat incumbent Ennis Fans for the District 25 seat in the Westside District.

A realtor, Christian
