Panthers and Lowe's build unique outdoor fitness space at Veterans Park in Charlotte

The Carolina Panthers and Lowe’s, in partnership with Mecklenburg County and Veterans Bridge Home dedicated a new National Fitness Campaign Fitness Court at Charlotte’s Veterans Park. Located in Charlotte’s Plaza-Midwood neighborhood, the project gives veterans a unique space for fitness and fellowship, while also serving the broader community.  

The project is part of the Panthers and Lowe’s collective military Salute to Service efforts and features a multi-station outdoor workout space for strength training, agility and cardio fitness. In addition, there is a 900-square-foot synthetic turf space for stretching, yoga and other active workout routines. 

“Serving those who serve our country has long been a priority for both the Carolina Panthers and our friends at Lowe’s,” said Panthers team president Tom Glick. “We are excited to see the enthusiastic response that the fitness court is generating by both veterans workout groups and the community at large.
