Sam English joined the University of South Carolina’s Office of Innovation, Partnerships and Economic Engagement.

In this role, he leads the university’s innovation, commercialization and economic development initiatives in the Upstate region of South Carolina.

English joins the university by way of Roanoke, Virginia, where he has worked with universities, health care systems, businesses and community leaders to head innovation and commercialization programs across Virginia.
