Kimberly Witherspoon was named as president elect of the Junior League of Greenville and is the first African American woman to serve in this role.

She has been a member of the organization for 11 years and recently served as community impact vice president.

Witherspoon is an attorney with Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd.
