North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper is expected to announce the opening of COVID-19 vaccine appointments to front-line workers one week early. According to WRAL-TV in Raleigh, Cooper could make the announcement during a press briefing Tuesday afternoon.

Front-line workers who could become eligible for the vaccine include postal workers, grocery store employees, restaurants, public transportation and first responders.

Details of the state’s vaccine rollout haven’t been made clear, but those appointments weren’t expected to become available until March 10 to allow North Carolina teachers and child care workers the opportunity to get their vaccinations. #WakeUpCLT #COVID19 #Vaccine
