North Carolina health officials are reporting an increase in new COVID-19 cases, with over 1,700 positive cases being reported on Sunday, October 11, 2020. According to the Department of Health and Human Services data, the latest numbers are similar to what the state saw in July. Right now, a little more than 5% of all tests are coming back positive.
In South Carolina, things are a bit different. Just about 700 people tested positive for coronavirus Sunday and the state’s case data is trending in the right direction.
