Zeta will quickly shoot across the Gulf of Mexico Wednesday. Central Georgia could feel some rain and wind impacts as the remnants of Zeta pass by Thursday. Zeta is now a category one hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 85mph. The storm has also picked up speed moving to the NNW at 17mph. Central Georgia remains outside of the cone of uncertainty, and the track shifted a bit to the west, favoring the European model. However, it did speed up just a touch.
