Greenville County reported 27 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 to lead South Carolina in new confirmed cases of Covid-19. Horry County lead the state in new and probably cases with 40.
South Carolina’s Covid vaccination efforts continue to lag behind the national average and now show 43.5% of residents being completely vaccinated against the virus. 67.7 percent of all American adults have received at least one shot as of July 13th, 2021. According to the CDC, South Carolina now ranks 39th in the county in Covid vaccination rate, a number that could lead to trouble as the Delta variant continues to spread across the country.
