Help the Hungry. Honor Our Heroes.
The Greenville Drive is partnering with Duke Energy, Spinx and Trehel Corporation to support the Minor League Baseball CommUNITY First campaign benefiting Feeding America and its partners throughout the nation.

School closures, rising unemployment and rising poverty due to quarantine and extended stay-at-home orders have disproportionately impacted people already at risk of hunger and could result in an estimated additional 17.1 million people experiencing food insecurity in the next 6 months across the country, according to Feeding America. As the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization with a network of more than 200 affiliates, Feeding American has projected a $1.4 billion shortfall in the next 6 months alone.

Locally, all donations will directly benefit Harvest Hope Food Bank and in addition to being able to help and support our immediate community members in need, the Drive will donate a ticket to a future game (either this season or next) to a frontline fighter of the pandemic for each $10 donation made by our fans, friends and neighbors. The heroism of these friends and family members has been an inspiration to our community and to the entire nation, and the Drive, along with our partners, is proud to salute these heroes in such a tangible way.

We are in this together for certain. And those who are in need, and who have gone above and beyond are deserving of our respect and recognition, our love and support. We hope that you will join us as we strive to make our community stronger. We know you will do your part. After all, this is the Upstate of South Carolina. And Together We Win!
