Furman’s January 16 Matchup Versus ETSU On ESPNU Moved To Timmons Arena

support of Furman University’s efforts to safely bring its students back to campus for the new semester, the Paladins’ nationally-televised Southern Conference men’s basketball tilt versus ETSU on Saturday, January 16, has been moved from Bon Secours Wellness Arena to Timmons Arena, it was announced on Friday.

Furman will remain in Phase 2 of its athletic ticketing plan with only guests of student-athletes, coaches and staff comprising the maximum capacity of 250 attendees. Fans can watch the Paladins take on ETSU live on ESPN at 4 p.m. on Jan. 16.

The Furman Box Office will be contacting those who purchased “Weekends at the Well” four-game packages. Package buyers will be given the option to choose to attend a future men’s basketball game or receive a refund for the January 16 game. Tickets purchased for the January 16 game directly from Bon Secours Wellness Arena or Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded.

Furman, 8-3 overall and 2-0 in SoCon play, is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 13, when it travels to Charleston, S.C., to face The Citadel. Wednesday’s game will be streamed on ESPN+ and fans can listen to the “Voice of the Paladins,” Dan Scott, on ESPN Upstate at 97.7 FM/1330 AM in Greenville, 97.1 FM/ 950 AM in Spartanburg, and through the Radio.com app.

Furman basketball returns to downtown Greenville for the first of three “Weekends at the Well” when it hosts the Chattanooga Mocs on January 30. Furman and Wofford will stage a rematch of last season’s thrilling showdown at the Well on February 6, before the Paladins entertain Western Carolina at the Well on February 13. Get your tickets now for all three “Weekends at the Well”!
