This will be the 11th year for the Fountain Inn Farmers Market. Our season begins May 22nd and runs through August 28th from 8am-noon every Saturday. We have also added a Fall market this year from 9/18-10/23. We currently have 38 seasonal vendors and 15 that have applied for weekly. This will be the most vendors we have started the season with and expect that number to grow as the season begins. Our vendors include fresh produce, meats, locally made pimento cheese, a wide assortment of baked goods as well as many local crafters.
The market takes place under a covered pavilion in Commerce Park at 110 Depot St in Fountain Inn. Last year we made some changes to our layout to comply with COVID restrictions. We will be keeping those changes in place for this season. The market is just a block off Main Street so make sure you save time to shop our local merchants, play at the splash pad or grab lunch.
This year we are bringing back our market activities.
The 1st Saturday of every month will feature a guest chef cooking up something from our vendors and offering samples. The 2nd Saturdays we will be offering a yoga class in the park. The 3rd weekends will feature a kid’s activity such as zucchini races and make & take art projects. The 4th Saturday of each month will feature local non-profits, a shred day, and a Health Fair. We are excited to be bringing these added activities to our market. Opening day will include a DJ, giveaways, food samples and bingo for the kids. This year we are excited to have The Coffey House Group as a presenting sponsor, Ryan Homes as our merchandise sponsor and an AGSouth Farmers Market Grant.
