According to Pickens County Democratic Party Chairman, Richard Byrd, the county’s election director, Rodney Allen, his two staff members, and all five board members, recently resigned. In a letter, sent to Gov. Henry McMaster, the board explained their decision to collectively resign saying “it has become impossible to do the job we were appointed to because of interference from the Pickens County delegation, Pickens County
