A former owner and operator of a Wisconsin dental practice is accused of intentionally damaging patients’ teeth, fixing them and then charging for the procedure. A federal indictment said Dr. Scott Charmoli, former owner and operator of Jackson Family Dentistry in Jackson, Wisconsin, would convince patients they needed a crown for a cracked tooth, even though the tooth was never broken.
