Chaos erupts at Virginia school board meeting on Transgender Rights as two parents arrested

At least two parents were arrested for trespassing and nearly 300 residents were forced to leave a school board meeting in Virginia after it erupted in chaos over a proposed policy to protect transgender students.

A school board meeting in Loudoun County, Virginia was deemed an “unlawful assembly” by local police after residents were told they would be trespassing if they didn’t leave the room.

The meeting was set to discuss a proposed policy 8040 which is a transgender protection right for students.

Many residents opposed the policy with over 250 residents signing up to speak against it at the meeting.

When the meeting got out of control the board members halted public commentary which angered the crowd who began singing ‘Star Spangled Banner’ in protest.

At least two men were arrested for trespassing after they refused to leave and one person was left with minor injuries
