Troopers say a woman was able to escape her car, after it hit a gas pump and caught on fire.Officials said the crash happened around 6:20 a.m. Saturday, on US-76 in Anderson CountyWe’re told a 61-year-old woman was driving when her brakes failed, she reported.The vehicle, a 2008 VW Coupe EOS, hit a gas pump, and caught on fire.She was able to escape, without injuries, and was not taken to the hospital.The car is a total loss, according to troopers.
