Tropical Storm Iota is poised to intensify rapidly starting tonight or tomorrow as it strikes the same area early next week that monster Hurricane Eta did just 2 weeks ago. Iota does not look to be a threat to the U.S. but will cause catastrophic flooding once again across Central America. More development is expected behind it as 2020 remains on a tear, with potential storm Kappa showing up on some models in about a week.
