The White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, released a statement on Twitter that she has tested positive for Covid-19 after “testing negatively consistently” since Thursday. New Dashboard Tracks COVID-19 at the White House
The public Covid-19 Dashboard tracker comes from Benjy Renton, Jesse O’Shea, and Peter Walker—the latter of whom is the data visualization lead for the COVID Tracking Project. The dashboard gives real time updates of Covid-19 infections related to White House personnel including 206 people possibly exposed to COVID-19 at a Trump fundraiser.
Possible shutdowns due to COVID increases across the country
In total, 32 states and Puerto Rico reported a rise in cases while New York City showed nine hot spot zip codes and the virus has infiltrated the NFL locker rooms.
