CHARLOTTE — Wide receiver Curtis Samuel (knee) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Saints after being limited in practice all week.

Samuel missed Week 6’s loss to the Bears with the injury. Head coach Matt Rhule classified Samuel as day-to-day earlier this week.

Cornerback Donte Jackson remains questionable with a toe injury, which could significantly impact Carolina’s secondary against New Orleans.

Jackson has been battling through the turf toe issue throughout the season. Sunday’s game could present another challenge because it will be on field turf as opposed to grass. When the Panthers played the Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Week 5 on field turf, Jackson exited the contest after only one play.

Cornerback Eli Apple is also questionable with a hamstring injury, as the Panthers want to make sure it doesn’t tighten up before the game.
