Week 6 Final Injury Report: Brian Burns expected to play

CHARLOTTE — After suffering a concussion against the Falcons last week, defensive end Brian Burns is expected to face the Bears this weekend.

Burns was a full participant in Friday’s light practice and does not have an injury status heading into Sunday.

“I’m planning on him playing,” head coach Matt Rhule said.

Wide receiver Curtis Samuel (knee) was a limited participant in practice all week and is one of four questionable players. If Samuel cannot play, wide receiver Seth Roberts would see increased reps.

“Obviously, I’d love to have Curtis play. He’s practiced, so it’s just a matter of if he feels 100 percent or not. That’s what leaves him questionable,” Rhule said. “We’ll see what his recovery and healing feels like up until Sunday.”
