Week 11 Wednesday Injury Report: Teddy Bridgewater limited

CHARLOTTE – Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who left Sunday’s loss to the Buccaneers with a knee injury, was limited in Wednesday’s first practice of the week.

Bridgewater did some light work on the side with an athletic trainer during the portion of practice open to the media. Bridgewater’s status for this weekend’s game against the Lions is unclear.

“We’ll monitor him day-to-day and see if he is able to go on Sunday,” head coach Matt Rhule said. “We’ll see how he responds to today’s work tomorrow.”

If Bridgewater doesn’t play, the starting nod will go to P.J. Walker or Will Grier.

“We’re hopeful that Teddy can go, but if not, we want to give them both a fair opportunity this week to show what they can do,” Rhule continued.

Four players did not practice Wednesday: running back Christian McCaffrey (shoulder),
