A visit to the Watershed Ecology Center hosted by the Sierra Club – Bartram Group ( free; non-members are welcome)
Location : Spartanburg, June 21 at 7:30 P.M. at the Susan Jacobs Arboretum, on the USC Upstate Campus.

Jack Turner, Director of the Watershed Ecology Center, will talk about the Center and its mission plus Adopt-a-Stream and how important it is.
Learn about the Watershed Ecology Center: “The Watershed Ecology Center’s mission is to collect, analyze and disseminate sound scientific information on the ecology of the region. Special emphasis is placed on watershed conservation, education, water quality and the study of organisms living in the area encompassed by a watershed.”

Explore the beautiful Susan Jacobs Arboretum: We have many beautiful places in the Upstate. This arboretum is a little known treasure.
