A fox that was burned in a September wildfire in California has recovered after weeks of treatment and was released back in the wild.

Statement from Gold Country Wildlife Rescue:

The burned fox we have had in our care since September has been released! This release was quite emotional for all of us because when we received this fox we were unsure if he would make it. He was extremely emaciated, weak, dehydrated, and severely burned. This work would not be possible without our generous donors so THANK YOU to all of our supporters!
