Upstate school district calls on Gov. McMaster to prioritize teachers, staff in vaccine distribution

Leaders of an Upstate School District are calling on South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster to give school educators and staff “priority access” to COVID-19 vaccines.In a letter dated Jan. 29, the Spartanburg School District Three Board of Trustees requested McMaster offer COVID-19 vaccinations to teachers as soon as possible. The letter mentioned the district made every effort to safely get students back to face-to-face instruction.
