A 42-year-old Greenville man is accused of killing his 93-year-old great-aunt who he shared a home with, according to Greenville police. Joel Corey Brown is charged with murder in connection with the death of Frances Mattison, according to police. Mattison was found dead about 9 a.m. Sunday on her bedroom floor of her home on Merlocke Drive, police said. Police said she had injuries to her neck from an edged weapon.
