A tree that fell Thursday across a busy Upstate highway has closed the highway in both directions and caused power outages for hundreds of Duke Energy customers.South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Joe Hovis tweeted at 3:20 p.m. that the tree fell along South Carolina Highway 8 near Fleetwood Drive.Hovis also said several power poles and lines are down in the area.Video from Sky 4 (below)
