The 14-year-old son of a Spartanburg County Sheriff’s deputy was hit by a car while crossing the street Saturday night, according to the sheriff’s office.In a Facebook post, the sheriff’s office said William Allen, 14, the son of Deputy Edgar Allen, was struck by a car while crossing Fernwood Glendale Road.Trooper Joe Hovis, with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, said the crash happened around 6:50
