Amanda Nunes (19-4) looks to continue her reign of dominance and defend her Featherweight Championship against Felicia Spencer (8-1) in UFC 250’s main event.

BANTAMWEIGHT FIGHT: ALJAMAIN STERLING VS. CORY SANDHAGEN — 11:14 PM ET

Aljamain Sterling punched his ticket for a shot at the vacant Bantamweight Championship with a first-round submission victory against Cory Sandhagen.

Sterling (19-3) entered the fight ranked second in the division, and he locked in the rear naked choke on Sandhagen (12-2) less than 90 seconds into the opening round.

Sandhagen was ranked fourth in the division, and he is an incredibly talented fighter but was out-classed by Sterling. That was the single biggest victory in Sterling’s career, attacking Sandhagen right away, taking his back, then got the choke and the subsequent finish.

The fight was a showcase to set up the next challenger for the Bantamweight champ, and Sterling proved he should be fighting for the world
