FREE ADMISSION 6-8PM to families with rising kindergarteners!

Countdown to Kindergarten provides parents with an opportunity to connect with
representatives from state agencies and community organizations to learn about
available educational, health and community resources. Let the countdown begin!

Enjoy free vision screenings, music and dance! See a real fire truck and learn safety skills. Practice loading and unloading a school bus! Greenville County Schools will be in attendance to sign families up for free and reduced lunch and share information regarding healthy school lunch offerings.

We are excited to announce King of Pops will be on site! And for those of you looking for something salty to go with your sweet, grab some dinner from the Bruster’s food truck and pull up a seat at our Patio, or bring a blanket and picnic on the lawn.

Representatives from Greenville Heritage FCU will be in the Money Works Exhibit! You can stop by to play the banking games, get a piggy bank for your child, ask questions about the credit union, and even open a savings account while you are there. Greenville Heritage will put the first $5 in your child’s account! Since the savings account will be a minor account, an adult has to be joint on the account. The adult will need to bring two forms of ID – driver’s license and Social Security Card are the two most popular – and a Certified Birth Certificate or Social Security Card for the child. For more information about Greenville Heritage FCU and a full list of acceptable IDs, visit https://www.greenvilleheritage.com/membership.php.

This event is specifically designed for children that will attend Kindergarten (K5) in fall of 2015 and their families.

Register in advance for easier entry on the day of the event.
