Today the James Beard Foundation announced plans for postponed awards ceremonies for both its 2020 restaurant and chef awards and its media awards programs.
The 2020 Restaurant and Chef Awards will take place on September 25, once again in Chicago. As of right now, the Foundation hasn’t confirmed the format of the event, but is presumably hoping for an in-person ceremony.
The 2020 Media Awards will take place online on May 27, covering cookbooks, broadcast media, and journalism.
