Brady’s Screen Printing selling T-shirts for employee relief
As more and more upstate businesses scale back on staffing during the coronavirus outbreak, a long-established business has created a way to help employees while sending an important message.Brady’s Screen Printing, at 106 Concord Road in Anderson, came up with a T-shirt designed to help any business in South Carolina.Owner Ricky Brady grew up in Belton, attended Lander University and started his business in Belton in 1989. He moved the business to Anderson in 2003.”Brady’s was built by local business support,” according to company representative Jennifer Bailey. “We wanted to give something back during this uncertain time, so we came up with a design that could be applied anywhere in the state, to remind people to support local businesses, because they’re our neighbors and friends.”Any business can purchase shirts wholesale, and then donate the proceeds to their employees or relief funds.Brady’s sells the shirt sells for $10, and donates $5 to employee relief, but some businesses are donating all the proceeds to help their employees, whose hours have been severely cut, Bailey said.Shirts can be purchased online or at these locations:Sue’s Wings and ThingsCam’s CafeJackie’s Starr MartThe Eatin’ PlaceValerie’s DinerLouie’s/El ArrieroBrady’s Screen Printing & Embroidery
