The Panthers recovered two fumbles and now have a league-high 15 fumble recoveries this season. Carolina’s 22 total takeaways rank fifth in the NFL. Carolina returned a muffed punt for a touchdown, their third fumble recovery touchdown this season. That ties with the 1996 team for the most fumble recovery TDs in one season in franchise history.
