
South Carolina hit another COVID-19 daily record number of new cases Friday, seven days after the previous state record, according to information from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
Greenville sets a daily high of 622 new Covid-19 infections.
DHEC announced 3,648 new COVID-19 cases and 28 deaths related to coronavirus. Advertisement
That total is 431 cases higher than the previous record reported on Dec. 11, which was 3,217,
