Sneak Peek at Daniel Island’s First and Only Waterfront Restaurant

Tour the newest seafood restaurant in the Lowcountry — the Kingstide

Charleston restaurant group Indigo Road (Oak Steakhouse, O-Ku, Indaco, and more) prepares to open its newest addition, named the Kingstide, on Daniel Island next week. The Kingstide is Indigo Road’s homage to the ocean. The menu from chef Kevin Getzewich (formerly of the Macintosh and One Broad) focuses heavily on seafood.

There’s classic raw bar items like oysters and stone crab claws, appetizers from smoked fish dip to seafood sausage, lobster rolls, shrimp po’ boys, fisherman’s stew, local trout, shellfish pasta dishes, a steak for that one friend that doesn’t like seafood, and more.

Located at 32 River Landing, the Kingstide is a two-story restaurant with plenty of patio seating looking out to the Wando River. The establishment will be open Wednesday through Monday (closed Tuesdays) for dinner and happy hour during the week and lunch and
