SC governor postpones county, municipal elections in state

South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster has postponed all municipal and county elections in the state scheduled for March and April.McMaster announced Sunday afternoon that the elections will be rescheduled for sometime after May 1 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The announcement has no impact on the filing period.Filing will open at noon Monday and end at noon March 30.
