The Greenville County Coroner’s Office is working with Greenville City Police to investigate a death near Alameda Street, according to Deputy Coroner Kent Dill.Lt. Alia Paramore with the Greenville Police Department initially told WYFF News 4 units were on scene investigating a call for shots fired.Dill confirmed one person is dead.The investigation is happening near Alameda Street and Hall Street.
