A pedestrian was struck and killed while attempting to cross a highway in Spartanburg County Tuesday night, according to Trooper Joe Hovis, with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.It happened around 6:45 p.m. on Asheville Highway 4 miles east of Inman, Hovis said.According to Hovis, the pedestrian was attempting to cross the highway when a car traveling west struck them.The pedestrian was taken to Spartanburg Regional
