The Parker Sewer and Fire Subdistrict has been awarded a $409,000 Federal Emergency Management Agency Assistance to Firefighters Grant.

The money will be used to purchase 50 new self-contained breathing apparatuses as well as to replace the SCBA air compressor at Station 3 on State Park Road.
