CHARLOTTE — The Panthers on Monday signed 14 players to reserve future contracts. All but one of the players finished the season on the practice squad, with a number of players earning active game status throughout the season as COVID-19 standard elevations.
Carolina also signed tight end Colin Thompson to a contract extension through 2021. Thompson, who was set to become an exclusive rights free agent, played in 15 games with four starts, making a 7-yard touchdown catch against Tampa Bay in Week 10.
