Other Southern is proud to announce a new album from debut artist Manifest Sons. One half post-punk inspired electro-acoustic songs, one half ambient mood pieces, “Rich Idiot Condos” is an upcoming release from MANIFEST SONS, solo project of Dr. Adam Murphy of Wasted Wine.

While an active member of veteran Greenville, SC band Wasted Wine, Adam often created solo albums and experimental projects for friends and private events. This year, partly due to quarantine, he entrusted his bandmate and longtime collaborator Robert Gowan to produce, mix, and publicly release his new album project under Gowan’s indie label Other Southern. After having the tracks mastered by local legend Neil Brooks, the team is very excited to start rolling out tracks and videos related to the project.
The first single “GET RIGHT RIGHT NOW” represents the song-oriented post-punk side of the album, dealing with societal collapse, problematic friends, and the pleasures and perils of moral perfectionism.

Smith of The Fall, Marxism, and unemployment. Recorded in near-total isolation while living in NYC and Greenville, SC, 2017-2019.”
