Michael Corley was recently named the next executive director of the nonprofit organization Conestee Foundation.

He is an environmental lawyer and current Upstate director of the South Carolina Environmental Law Project, a nonprofit public-interest law practice that utilizes the legal system to protect South Carolina’s natural resources and communities from environmental harm.

Corley also serves as an adjunct professor of environmental law at Furman University.
