NC Gov. Cooper could ease more COVID restrictions

North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper could announced even more restrictions will be eased across the state as metrics move in the right direction.

With daily cases numbers dropping across the state, Cooper is expected to lift even more restrictions currently in place for businesses and events in North Carolina. Cooper previously allowed bars and restaurants to allow more guests indoors and dissolved the nightly 10 p.m. curfew. Under the current guidelines, bars and entertainment venues can have 50% capacity indoors.

More fans are now allowed to attend high school sporting events, while professional events can host up to 30% capacity at outdoor venues, such as Bank of America Stadium and Charlotte Motor Speedway. #WakeUpCLT #COVID19 #ncpol
