A mother who lost her son to COVID-19 is speaking out against President Donald Trump after he said Americans should not fear the coronavirus.Kelly Allen’s son, Jamain Stephens, was just 20 years old when he died of COVID-19 in September. He was a football player at California University of Pennsylvania and a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh.Allen said Trump’s comments added insult to her loss, and she believes that his message to not “let (coronavirus) dominate your life” sends the wrong message during a pandemic. “You’re waving from the balcony, you’re taking off your mask and you’re saying ‘don’t let it run your life,’ but this has turned my life upside down,” Allen said.Watch the video above to learn more about this story.

Kelly Allen’s son, Jamain Stephens, was just 20 years old when he died of COVID-19 in September.
