This Week:

A front will be hovering much closer to the Carolinas on Monday and Tuesday which will keep more clouds and scattered rain for the Charlotte area. The clouds and shower chances should help tame the heat a bit with highs only in the lower to mid-80s, but still very muggy. More widespread rain is possible Monday and Monday night. Rain will still be heavy in places Tuesday but will be more concentrated to our southeast. Clouds will still remain around the frontal boundary keeping things cooler still Tuesday. Wednesday warms up again back into the upper 80s with only an isolated rain chance. The heat peaks with highs climbing back into the low to mid-90s by the end of the week.
