Man threatens to infect California deputy with coronavirus

A California sheriff’s deputy is quarantining after a man who could have COVID-19 coughed on him with malicious intent, the sheriff’s office reported. According to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy stopped a man with a no bail warrant and on post-release community supervision. The man was found to have a loaded gun concealed on him and drugs in his hotel room, investigators reported.
