The 2017 season at Fluor Field has been among the most memorable years in the history of the Greenville Drive, and the final homestand of the regular season kicks off on Tuesday night. The Drive will host the Rome Braves, an Atlanta Braves affiliate, for a crucial three-game series on the field. The Drive, having solidified their postseason spot, will look to gain positive momentum as they begin the playoffs next week, and the Braves are looking to play catchup to win the second half Southern Division title. With key partners being recognized throughout the week, and a Drive staple promotion concluding the homestand, you’ll want to be at Fluor Field as the Drive wrap up the regular season.

For a season that began with the unveiling of $14 million in enhancements to Fluor Field, itâ€™s only fitting that the Drive’s final homestand of 2017 begins on Tuesday, August 29th with a celebration of the Construction Industry, presented by Harris Flooring. First pitch is at 7:05 PM, and all throughout the evening, the success of the construction industry in the Upstate will be celebrated. A pregame reception will be held in the Champions Club presented by Hubbell Lighting, to recognize prominent construction projects, including key remarks from Dr. Bruce Yandall of Clemson University. All throughout the night, several construction industry champions from Trehel, Sunbelt Rentals and Elmore Goldsmith, P.A. will be featured in pregame honorary positions and between-innings entertainment that highlight the importance of the construction industry to Greenville. A portion of the night’s proceeds will also go back to two worthy organizations, Habitat for Humanity and The Piedmont Womenâ€™s Center.
The will host GHS Family Night at Fluor Field on Wednesday, August 30th. Greenville Health System and the Drive have a longstanding partnership, and the Drive will recognize the many accomplishments of GHS personnel throughout the evening. GHS employees will take part in a pregame Ballpark Bash at Fluor Field in celebration of another great year with the Drive, and key representatives will hold pregame honorary positions, while special in-game recognitions and videos will highlight the continuous impact GHS has on the Upstate community. First pitch for Wednesday’s tilt against the Braves is at 7:05 PM.
The Drive will host the final Dollar Drink Night of the season on Thursday, August 31st at 7:05 PM. Drink specials will begin when the gates open at 6:00. For fans over 21, The Iron Yard 500 Club is the place to be for $1 PBRs, young professional networking, and incredible views of the action. In addition, all Fluor Field concession stands will have $1 Pepsi products and Smokehouse Dogs available for purchase, as nothing says a night of baseball like a hot dog and a cold Pepsi. Spend your final Thursday night of the season by cheering on the Drive as they get ready for the triumphant return of playoff baseball to Downtown Greenville!
